SPECIAL FEATURES
Luxury property rarely found as a rental property.
This is an architecturally unique log home with every room professionally designed overlooking Lake
Simcoe. Windows and
skylights are used to bring the outdoors in. This cottage has beautiful furnishings in keeping with
a fine Ontario resort. The view is beautiful across the lake and the waterfront is clean with soft sand and
crystal clear water. The entry into the lake is very gradual and ideal for children. There
is also a private beach one property over for those who live on this private road.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The interior was professionally designed with new appliances, high end furnishings, towels and linens. The
kitchen is excellently equipped and has beautiful china, glasses, chrystal and cutlery. Original artwork is
in every room and inuit sculptures strategically placed, contributing to the casual elegance that one would
want in a unique country home on the lake.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
This grey log house is on a private road with a large forest on one side and Lake Simcoe on the other. It is
a double property with a spectacular view of the lake. The logs were carefully selected and imported from
British Columbia and the cottage took two years to build. There is a long dock with excellent swimming in
clear water. The entry into the lake is gradual and ideal for children. The large deck and lawn have six
seating areas.
It is a wonderful getaway in all seasons. The autumn leaves can be seen around and across the lake and
there are nice walking trails in the forest across the road. In the winter there is ice fishing, wonderful
winter walks and skiing nearby. The spring is beautiful with blankets of Trilliums covering the forest floor.
Summer of course has swimming, hiking, biking and sitting on the deck with family and friends.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
This is a year round cottage. Toronto is only one hour away and Barrie only a 15 minute drive.
Long footpaths begin just behind the cottage and you can walk for miles. Boating and biking are
also at your doorstep. There are fine golf courses nearby with the well known Allendale Golf Club a
short drive away.
There are excellent local restaurants, shops, galleries and malls, yet you are still in the middle of the
country on a quiet part of the lake.
In winter, there is skating on the lake, as well as downhill skiing, as close as 30 minutes away. (Horseshoe
Valley, Moonstone Mount St. Louis and Beaver Valley.) Ice fishing is also a popular activity. The
beautiful foot paths in the forest behind the cottage are also good for cross country skiing.
