Our definition of a Tourist Attraction-Drawing or attracting persons to visit a place, attend an event, or travel to a location for such purposes as for Recreation, Enjoyment, Education and Information gathering or Intellectual pursuits.
What constitutes a Great Tourist Attraction? It has to be Interesting, Affordable, Nearby, Accessible and Appealing to a wide demographic. We are looking for places and activities that families can participate in, that seniors can easily access and visit, that active people or singles
can experience or venues that all can enjoy.
We are looking for all types of tourist attractions to promote: From A-Z: Amusement and Theme parks to Zoo's. The attractions might be a Museum, or a Steam Locomotive excursion, a Mountain Tram, to an Historical Village, an Olympic venue to an Art Gallery, a Fishing Camp to an Outdoor Waterslide, a Ski Hill to a Provincial Landmark, a Dude Ranch to a Luxury Spa, a Golf Course to a National monument, Live Theatre or a Retreat in the country, A lake tour on a Paddlewheel Boat to a ride in an open Bi-Plane.
The Great Tourist Attractions site was developed to educate, to inform and to provide enjoyment to all those that visit those special places in the world, and that they have an appreciation of all that we have to be thankful for. The world as we know it is a fascinating place. We encourage all people to get out and experience our tourist attractions. Meet the locals, experience the culture, taste the food, walk the trails, hike the mountain terrain, watch the birds, canoe the lakes and explore the environment.
