Area description

Built in 2006 - 2007 this spacious cottage is about a 45 minutes drive along highway 28 (enroute to Gold River) which is about 52 km west of Campbell River and is situated on the picturesque Upper Campbell Lake adjacent to Strathcona Provincial Park.

Swan Bay cabin is accessable via a maintained gravel road,  which is about 1.5 km in off of highway 28 just past Strathcona Park Lodge.

With stunning views and wildlife this is a rather remote location ideal for those looking to get away from it all. The tranquil surroundings are ideal for swimming, trout fishing, kayaking, hiking, water skiing or just some well needed relaxation.

Swan Bay is a magical place and our family feels blessed to be stewards of this beautiful land. We look forward to providing others with the opportunity to experience this amazing location for themselves.

 

Property Description

Beautiful, secluded and family friendly lake front rental on Upper Campbell Lake.
The house is a brand new 1400 square foot rancher with panoramic views of the mountains and lake.

A private dock with slide that would be appropriate for boats or floatplanes.

The house is situated on 4.25 acres of private water front with approx. 1800 ft. of lake front

 The cottage is off the grid i.e.: not conventional hydro and runs on solar and generator power we have had no problems in that regard and it just takes a little getting used to conservation of electricity.

 

There are two full bathrooms one with tub and shower and one with shower.

TV with DVD and VCR.

There is no cellular telephone service however there is a phone approx. 3 kms away at Strathcona Park Lodge

Great swimming, kayaking, hiking and fishing as well as just relaxing.

You must bring life jackets and children must wear life jackets while on the dock and must be supervised at all times.
