- 2004 Cottage & Recreational Show was a
success with an
estimated 700 people who attended on Saturday April 24
- Over 40 exhibitors in attendance
- Media coverage-Big 105 FM live radio remotes-RD
TV coverage-Red Deer Advocate and SylvanLake News in attendance
- Met many cottage owners who traveled from
Calgary, Camrose,
Edmonton Red
Deer and locally as well.
- Thank you for your positive comments about the show.
- Combined show with the vendors Farmers Market
was a positive addition
- 4 page full color newspaper insert in the
Sylvan Lake News April 21st -8000 copies were distributed
- Over 4,300 unique visitors to the site in April alone-Now in excess of 35,000 visitors since April 15th 2003 and growing
daily.
- Pay per Click Great Cottages rank very high on all major search engines
- Listings on over 35 directories
- Advertising currently running in newspapers and magazines
promoting the site.
- New listings from Lund, BC, Prince George, BC,
with new listings coming from Gull Lake, Pine Lake, Pigeon and Sylvan
Lake.
- Please refer people to your tour number on
www.greatcottages.com when you advertise.
- Great Cottages is a recognized source for recreational
property rentals
Bookings: Many owners have advised us they are almost booked
for the season. As soon as you are booked, please let us know
immediately so we can place a notice "Booked for the Season" on your tour. If
you are receiving calls from guests who you cannot help, either because you are
booked, or the group cannot be accommodated, please refer them to a fellow cottage
or cabin owner.
We require additional listings from all lake
areas. All referrals greatly appreciated.
CONTEST: Any referral listing from an owner
that signs with
Great Cottages between now and June 30th will be entered
into
a DRAW
to WIN their 2005 listing FREE! You can refer as many as you
want more chances
to win. Referrals for Bed and Breakfasts or Tourist
Attractions
also qualify.
