SYLVAN LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK
The province of Alberta is seeking to divest itself of Sylvan Lake Provincial Park and turn it over to the town. In itself, it is not a bad idea, however, the Town of Sylvan hired a consultant who suggested charging visitors to the area for park and lake access, vehicle parking charges and a number of other ideas. These ideas are not acceptable. Please contact your local MLA in Edmonton, Calgary, Camrose, Sylvan or where ever you live and tell them that the Sylvan Lake Provincial Park needs to be operated and funded by the province for all Albertans and tourists to enjoy-with out day use charges. Be Vocal! Speak up now, we need to be heard.
