Saskatchewan is blessed with many lakesand incredible fishing. The historic sites of Batoche, Duck Lake and the Louis Riel Rebellion are a great part of the fabled past. In addition, visit the Grotto near Duck Lake, where many people of all faiths have come. Saskatchewan is more than wheat fields. Just ask anyone who is from Saskatchewan.

Prince Albert National Park with Lake Waskesiu features a number of challenging golf courses.The beaches are great for sunbathing, and the water is clear and cold. Many stories are told about Grey Owl in this area.This rates 4 stars.
The area near Prince Albert is dotted with lakes and beaches such as Emma, Sunset, Christopher, Anglin Lake, Candle Lake and to the west with Jackfish Lake near North Battleford. Farther north and west, Meadow Lake provincial park is definitely worth the travel time. Great fishing.
Manitou Springs Resort Spa, just a short drive north of Watrous, Saskatchewan, which is east of Saskatoon. Rates 4 stars.
Saskatoon, a thriving city, has nearby Diefenbaker Lake with its numerous beaches. Saskatchewan even has a manmade mountain-Mount Blackstrap that was used for the Saskatchewan winter games.

Moose Jaw has the famous Temple Gardens Mineral Spa and who hasn't heard about the Al Capone caves? Worth a visit- 3 stars.
The Qu'Appelle Valley is another reason not to miss a trip to this South eastern recreational area. Pauline Johnson's famous poem is still taught in school. This is a great experience. Who said Saskatchewan was flat!
South western Saskatchewan features the Cyprus Hills, which also has an Alberta side. Lots to do, and a great area to RV and camp.
They often joke that Saskatchewan is so flat that you can watch your dog run away for days. Not true.
I almost forgot- Rouleau, Saskatchewan, made famous by Corner Gas. This is worth a trip- 4 stars. There are bus tours from Regina, the provincial capital. Lots to do do and see in Regina, the home of the Saskatchewan Rough Riders of the CFL.
