Great Golfing

United States of America

Canadians love to travel, and their number 1 choice by far is the USA. Our neighbor to the south, the USA offers such an incredible variety of destinations that are a favorite depending on where you live.

In western Canada, the Pacific northwest, Seattle, Spokane, Coeur D'Alene, Portland, Lake Oswego and the surrounding areas ( Mount Baker) attracts thousands of visitors annually. The Grand Canyon attracts Canadians who want to see one of the great wonders of the world.

The winter of course, we head south to Las Vegas, Reno, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix and other hot spots. Golfing in the western USA offers famous courses at Pebble Beach and Carlsbad, CA to name but a few for those wanting the ultimate challenge.

Eastern Canadians choose New York, Atlantic City, Washington and snow birds head for Miami and other Florida destinations in the winter. Many other southern coastal cities in North Carolina and Virginia feature world renown Golf Courses that host PGA tour events. The Grand daddy of them the Masters at Augusta in Georgia is a lifetime must attend event.

Skiers can head to Vail or Aspen in the west, and Lake Placid and the Pocono ski areas in the east for some of the America's best skiing. Salt Lake and area was host to the 2002 Winter games a few years ago.

Families will travel to Disneyworld in Florida or Disneyland in California. For those who want the ultimate in Amusement parks, the adventuresome head to the 6 Flags in Texas or other great parks for their thrills..

Sports fans flock to baseball, basketball, hockey and football stadiums and arenas scattered across all parts of the United States.

Whatever your choice, whatever you want to do for a vacation, the USA offers it in abundance.

Hawaii of course is a Canadian favorite with thousands jetting every year to Waikiki and other islands for their
fix of warm weather escaping the cold Canadian winters.
